The Conscious Life Conference and Exposition was a powerful network and celebration from February 8-11, in Los Angeles. It brought together the local and global community of new paradigms for science, health, spirituality, longevity to participate in the conscious co-creation of a new world, This is a yearly three-day event that helps create a shift in consciousness and the visions for a new world.

This year, it appeared as if there were more exhibitors and attendees who gathered together to share their awareness of the higher vibrations and changes occurring in our world at this time. With four Exhibit Halls and nearly 200 Keynote Speakers, General Workshops, Free Lectures and Special Events, it achieved its promise of a memorable event with the top leaders in our awakening community.

Some of the top keynote speakers were: John Robbins, Healing Power of Integrity; David Wilcock, The Beginning of the Ascension Timeline; George Noory, leading a panel on the Emerging Science;Eric Pearl, The Reconnection; Danion Brinkley, What Death Can Teach You About Life and many others.

A very special event that was filled to the brim with enthusiastic attendees was Gregg Braden, the internationally renowned author and pioneer in bridging science and spirituality. His background of studies is so impressive, he has led a relentless search for the truth of our existence via visionquests to the “high mountain villages, remote monasteries, and forgotten texts to uncover their timeless secrets.” His passion is uplifting, inspiring and contagious. His groundbreaking work of unveiling wisdom of the ancients and his personal experiences with indigenous cultures  (visiting people that are otherwise unknown to modern society) is fascinating.

“In an interview with Dawn Baumann Brunke,In Search of Original Wisdom and Moving Towards Compassion, Braden states “The context within which we are viewing the events of our lives and witnessing outrageous phenomenon (for our own scientists are documenting unprecedented natural phenomenon in terms of earth and space alike) looks frightening to many Westerners. As I have traveled through many of the indigenous cultures of the world, Egypt, Bolivia, Peru, Nepal and elsewhere, it is interesting that almost universally these cultures not only allow for the changes which are happening but they expect them and they expect them now.

Quite literally, there is a new species of human that is being birthed within this generation, at the close of this grand cycle of experience that the ancients called the Shift of the Ages. This new species has been predicated, prophesied, and expected through ancient and indigenous cultures. It is only in the West that we’ve been surprised and mystified because it is in the West that we’ve lost the text.”

Another uplifting and inspiring lecture was“How to Transform the World by Doing What you Love,” by Foster and Kimberly Gamble. As the creators of the globally acclaimed film THRIVE, Foster and Kimberly Gamble, share success stories and strategies for bold new solutions from around the world.

This was not about how to do what you love and the money will follow path. It is a paradigm shift in how to create a new world that is thriving, not merely surviving. In the lecture, they discussed the importance of finding out your own personal raison d’etre, portraying a graphic demonstration wheel, which outlined gifts and talents that all the attendees could identify for themselves.

This group workshop encouraged many to share their personal missions, passions and what kinds of things they do that give them meaning and purpose. While accessing the model chart depicted in the front of the room, people were asked to raise their hands, identifying their primary personal missions from a variety of areas, including health, justice, arts and entertainment, to spirituality. When identified, they were able to find a place for themselves in the greater continuum, in order to bond together as a grassroots community of other conscious-co-creators. In doing so,  they could bring about profound changes in the present(corrupt) systems of government, health wellness and the overall climate for change.

Growing up in a life of privilege, Gamble’s great great grandfather was the co-founder of Proctor and Gamble. For Foster Gamble, his personal life path was that of  awakening to the truths about the meaning of life, beyond survival, money and power. His search led him to help others, the masses of humanity, move from survive to thrive. At age 14, Gamble “had a vision where he glimpsed what he perceived to be the Universe’s fundamental energy pattern. He spent the next 35 years trying to figure out the details and implications of what he had seen. That quest took two paths: a scientific journey and an exploration of the human potential to navigate successfully through the challenges threatening our survival. THRIVE represents the convergence of these two paths.”

This workshop served as a model of a global movement designed and demonstrated in their powerful movie, Thrive, What on Earth Will it Take? The first step to global change from a grassroots perspective is to “identify your unique passion and purpose so you can naturally contribute what you want to do while experiencing the power of being part of a globally coordinated whole systems solutions network.”
